Category B is for candidates who are studying, or have qualified within two years of nomination, a course that leads to the award of a qualification at either Level 4 or Level 5 on the National Qualification Framework.

The awards are open to all those currently studying materials or minerals technology or related subjects and those who have completed such courses within the last two years. There is no age barrier.

The Award is £500 and a certificate
