IOM3 shortlisted for two 2026 ABPCO Excellence Awards

Recognition for IOM3 and our events team on the 2026 ABPCO Excellence Awards shortlist.

We're delighted to share that IOM3 has been shortlisted in two categories at the 2026 ABPCO Excellence Awards.

The Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO) is the UK's leading organisation for professional conference and event organisers working in the association, academic and not-for-profit sectors. Its annual Excellence Awards celebrate outstanding work and best practice across the sector.

Our flagship event, Materials, Minerals and Mining for People, Places and Planet (M3P3), has been shortlisted for Best New Conference, recognising the successful launch of a new event that brings together professionals and communities from across the materials, minerals and mining sectors.

Sorcha Donnelly, IOM3 Senior Event Project Manager, has also been shortlisted for the Rising Star Award, recognising her outstanding contribution to the delivery and development of events and her growing impact within the sector.

The ABPCO Excellence Awards recognise and celebrate industry best practice in association and not-for-profit conferences and events, highlighting the innovation, quality and impact being delivered across the profession.

These two shortlists are a fantastic recognition of the work that goes into creating valuable experiences for our members, delegates and wider community, from developing and launching new events to delivering exceptional experiences for attendees.

We're incredibly proud of both achievements and would like to thank everyone who contributed to M3P3, including our staff, volunteers, speakers, partners and attendees.
