IOM3 celebrates 2025 Awards Day
IOM3 Awards Day 2025 was held on 4 December at 297 Euston Road to celebrate professional achievement and published work in science and engineering.
On 4 December, we held IOM3 Awards Day at 297 Euston Road, to celebrate the excellence in our community of materials, minerals and mining.
IOM3 Chief Executive Dr Colin Church CEnv FIMMM and IOM3 President Christine Blackmore CEnv Csci FIMMM welcomed the guests, following which the award recipients were honoured during drinks and canapes in The Mine. Later in the day, we held the Christmas Dinner in the Bessemer Suite to celebrate their contributions to IOM3 and Affiliated Local Societies, their technical achievements, and their published work. The evening began with a drinks reception, followed by the awards being presented by President Christine Blackmore.
Following the Awards, President Christine Blackmore said, 'On behalf of the IOM3, it is both a privilege and an honour to acknowledge our community’s achievements, celebrate their contributions and recognise the expertise they bring to the institute. Our winners' work inspires others, raises standards across our professions and helps to create an inclusive community where talent can flourish. My sincere thanks and congratulations to all the award winners.'
