London's super sewer exhibition
London's super sewer is part of a new tunnelling exhibition at the Brunel Museum over the school summer holidays.
The Tunnelling Today exhibition showcases the Tideway project and why it is necessary. It includes a model of Tideway's Tunnel Boring machines that are digging the 25km tunnel to transfer sewage to Beckton for treatment.
The Brunel Museum is an educational charity with a new exhibit in the form of an old 50ft-deep entrance shaft to the historic Thames Tunnel.
Tunnelling Today is open Friday, Sunday and Monday 11am to 5pm until September 4th.
