EUROCORR 2026 brings the global corrosion community to Dublin

EUROCORR 2026 is organised by the European Federation of Corrosion (EFC), with the support of the Institute of Corrosion (ICorr), the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (IOM3) and DECHEMA.

The European Corrosion Congress, EUROCORR 2026, will take place from 6 to 10 September 2026 at the Convention Centre Dublin, welcoming over 1,500 members of the international corrosion community to Ireland’s capital for the flagship event in the global corrosion calendar. The  conference welcome reception will be held at the Convention Centre Dublin and a conference dinner will be hosted at the iconic Guinness Storehouse.

Held under the theme Investing in our future: corrosion challenges for green technologies, EUROCORR 2026 will examine how corrosion science, technology and engineering support the transition to a sustainable, low carbon future.

You will hear from plenary speakers: 

• Professor Mary Ryan FREng FIMMM CBE of Imperial College London
• Professor En-Hou Han of the Institute of Corrosion Science and Technology, Guangzhou
• Professor Arjan Mol, TU Delft

EUROCORR 2026 places strong emphasis on career development and the next generation of corrosion professionals, with Young EFC activities running throughout the conference, including networking events, presentation awards and a career fair. A Corrosion Summer School, focused on green and low carbon energy technologies, will take place from 3 to 5 September 2026 at TU Dublin, immediately before the conference.
