Matopoly: Birmingham
Following the success of past Matopoly events in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Oxford, Liverpool and Perth (Australia), the Student & Early Career Committee is pleased to announce that the 2022 Matopoly will be returning to Birmingham in October.
Teams (of up to 4 people) will be required to orienteer around the city by following clues which lead to destinations within a materials science theme. At each location a team photograph will earm them points. The team with the highest final score will be declared the winner.
Following the event, the SECC will hold a reception at a local pub. This will provide an excellent opportunity for networking with peers from a range of materials science and engineering backgrounds, a complimentary buffet and the presentation of all-important prizes.
