The Board of the Wood Technology Society recently met at the new Napier University Centre for Wood Science and Technology in Edinburgh.  This is part of the Institute for Sustainable Construction.

After the formalities of the Board Meeting, the Board Members were given a tour of the facilities, and shown the various research projects currently underway.

Napier is at the forefront of research into the development and use of native timbers.
