The New IOM3 website

The new website was launched in April 2015. Here is an overview of the main changes you'll need to be aware of.

The site is built on a more advanced platform of Drupal, the popular open-source software used for the old website. Some of what you'll find therefore is similar to the old site, e.g. you'll go to the same URLs as before to create content (www.iom3.org/node/add/news for instance to add a news article).

Changes have been made to the subject categorisation on forms for events, news and features to make this simpler. See this page for original details of the changes.

All content from the old website was migrated to this site at midday on 23 February 2015. Additions and edits made to the old site after that time will NOT have appeared automatically on this site.

The old IOM3 website was retained in archive for reference until the end of October 2015 and has now been deleted.

Content alerts are now called "Subscriptions". User settings on the old website have not been transferred to the new site, so if you had alerts set up you will need to set these up again.

Please direct any general enquiries about the new site to Richard Cooper.
