Dr Walter Stahel to open Balancing Resource Efficiency with Climate Change Conference
In a travel friendly day starting at 11.00 am and finishing at 7.00 pm with a Networking Drinks Reception, the full programme will attempt to cover the recent two ambitions of the UK government to set out the 25-year environmental action plan and a commitment for the UK to be zero net carbon by 2050. This conference critically examines these two challenges, with an emphasis on rigorous systems thinking and numerical estimates.
Sessions will cover, Product & Process Design for a Low-Carbon Economy, Life Cycle Perspectives in a Circular Economy, Carbon Capture Scenarios and The UK Resource and Waste Landscape with Panel discussions after each session.
In addition to the renowned Dr Stahel, the topics to be covered will be Aerospace, Electrical Vehicle Battery Recycling, Plastics, Carbon Neutrality Roadmap, Can Recyclability but not Sustainable? Packaging Recycling and End of Life Infrastructure.
