Apple's recycling robot Daisy for iPhones

Capable of disassembling nine iPhone versions and taking apart 200 devices in an hour, meaning that, for every 1,00,000 iPhones disassembled, the Robot manages to recover 1,900 kgs of aluminum, 710 kgs of copper, 70 kgs of cobalt and 11 kgs of rare earth elements.

The unit is based in Austin, Texas with plans to add similar units in the USA and Europe.The robot is geared up to handle only iPhones.
