MAP & Wolff Olins - Fortnum & Mason Hamperling
Entrant's statement: The ‘Hamperling’ is a true first – a take-away reinvention of the traditional Hamper. It launched the Fortnum & Mason brand beyond Piccadilly for the first time in 300 years.
Judges' comments: Attention to detail! It's like unwrapping a present. Elegance and sophistication to lunchtime dining. Love it!! High impact/sense of indulgence without being obscene.
Multi Packaging Solutions - Lindt Giant Carrot
Entrant's statement: The pack is truly distinctive and reinforces the brand's association with Easter. Like the original Lindt Bunny, it breaks the mould and takes Easter gifting to a new dimension.
Judges' comments: Great products! Right on brand, excellent engineering. Outer works really well. Very well presented!
SAICA Pack - Two Cocks Brewery Carrier
Entrant's statement: Dramatic, beautiful products need a great stage to be seen, the new ‘Theatre pack’ presents one of the most uniquely branded bottles, allowing them to ‘sing out’ to their audience.
Judges' comments: Very nice design, insert works well. Nice attention too with feather die cut on back. We've never seen a feather on a bottle!
Burtons Biscuit Co - M&S Limited Edition Royal Baby Tin
Entrant's statement: The challenge was to produce a fully commemorative tin for sale in Marks & Spencer stores within hours of the naming of the future King of England.
Judges' comments: Unique occasion - in keeping with the brand. Executed well.
