The Schools and Student Starpack awards for 2017 have been launched and the briefs for the competition are now available.This year there are new arrangements for judging - packs will only need to be sent in for shortlisted entries. Full details of deadlines are available on the links below.
The Schools Starpack Awards are aimed at Years 10, 11 and AS Level, and this year include briefs for a sport activity bottle, space meal in a can, fashion accessories and creative fruit and vegetable packaging.

Online registration for entries is already available, and the deadline for Schools entries is Monday 10 April 2017.
The Student Starpack Awards are intended for potential professional designers. In the past the awards have led directly to a number of employment opportunities for successful entrants.
The 2017 briefs include disaster aid/emergency packaging, a luxury vodka pack, sustainable expanding takeaway packs, safe and secure transit packaging, and packaging as a bridge to a digitised brand experience. The Student awards are generously sponsored by the Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association, BPI Polythene Industries, DS Smith Packaging, Logoplaste, Coca-Cola, Graphic Packaging International, RPC and Smurfit Kappa.
Online registration for entries will commence in November, and the deadline for Student entries is Monday 10 April 2017.
