The Schools and Student Starpack awards for 2016 have been launched and the briefs for the competition are now available.
The Schools Starpack Awards are aimed at Years 10, 11 and AS Level, and this year include briefs for a pet gift pack, flavoured milk pack, a receptacle for waste, and a new brand for the Rio Olympics 2016.
We are delighted to have sponsorship for the Schools Awards from Graphic Packaging International, Logoplaste and BPI Polythene Industries plc.
Online registration for entries will commence in December, and the deadline for Schools entries is 4 March 2016.
The Student Starpack Awards are intended for potential professional designers. In the past the awards have led directly to a number of employment opportunities for successful entrants.
The 2016 briefs include coin collector’s presentation packaging, new uses for recycled polythene films, confectionery packaging, barbeque party packs and mouthwash containers. The Student awards are generously sponsored by API, BPI Polythene Industries, DS Smith Packaging, Logoplaste, Nestle, Graphic Packaging International and Nampak.
