Adhesion '19 Medal Winners announced

The Society for Adhesion and Adhesives (SAA) announces the recipients of the two medals to be presented at the Adhesion ’19 conference in September.

The Wake Memorial Medal, awarded in recognition of outstanding and prolonged contribution to the fields of adhesion or adhesives, will be presented to Professor John Watts from the University of Surrey by the SAA chairman Stephen Millington.

The De Bruyne Medal is presented in recognition of the recipient's personal contribution to innovation in the field of adhesives and related technologies and recognises novel technical achievements that are demonstrably viable. At Adhesion ’19 the recipient will be Professor Klaus Dilger from the Technical University of Braunschweig in Germany. The medal will be presented by the sponsoring company, Hexcel Composites Ltd.
