Rubber in Engineering Group
24 Feb 2011

The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining is a member of, and holds the secretariat for, the International Rubber Conference Organisation (IRCO). As a member of IRCO we are entitled to have representation on the IRCO Committee that meets annually at the IRC Conference.

The IRCO consists of representatives from rubber societies from 18 member countries and has the remit to decide upon the location of future IRC’s and RubberCon’s and to ensure that future IRC’s are of a consistently high standard with a focus on excellence in terms of technical content. More information about the IRCO can be found at

IRC 2011 will be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil from 15-17 June 2011 and the Institute is looking for two representatives to attend the conference and the IRCO Committee meeting on behalf of the IOM3 and the UK rubber community.
