Mental health and wellbeing resources in the UK

As a follow-up to their successful INWED online seminar on 23 June, WIM3 have published a list of mental health and wellbeing resources in the UK.

 

  • Shout – texting service for those in crisis https://www.giveusashout.org/ or Text Shout to 85258
  • Samaritans Helpline – To talk to someone  https://www.samaritans.org/ or call free on 116 123

  • The Mix - provides judgement-free information and support to young people aged 13-25 on a range of issues including mental health problems  www.themix.org.uk/get-support
  • Talk to your doctor
  • Find a therapist locally (a lot are doing online sessions during Lockdown / COVID19)
  • Check if your employer / educational institution has a helpline
