The International Women in Resources Mentoring Programme (IWRMP) is now accepting applications for its 2022 programme.

Established in 2019, the initiative is an annual cross-company programme established in 2018 to 'promote and empower women to progress their careers, overcome professional challenges and build confidence for achievement and industry leadership'.

To date, the six-month initiative has worked with 200 mentees, including 56 scholars. In 2021, 70 mentees from over 20 countries participated.

IWRMP places a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion, by reducing cross-cultural barriers through partnerships between mentees and senior industry leaders committed to the promotion of women in mining.

Applications close on the 31st of December 2021 and the programme will run from April to September 2022. Opportunities also exist for sponsorship participation in the programme.
