2020 Warwickshire Polymer Study Tour at WHS Plastics

After a fabulous course in 2019 we are thrilled to be able to work with WHS Plastics in Water Orton, Warwickshire again this year. WHS Plastics have been operating as family run company since 1933 and they specialise in cutting edge injection moulding processes.  The course starts early on Friday morning with an introduction to the company and tours of the site.  After lunch we will look at how you can make your polymer teaching more engaging with a series of talks and practicals linking to the curriculum.  The second day will feature more information to boost your subject knowledge and an important session, led by a practicing teacher, on how you can use the information from the course in your lessons.  The provisional timetable is as follows:

We will be staying overnight at the Lea Marston Hotel and all meals, refreshements, and accommodation are includeded.  We have tried to make travelling to and from the course by public transport as easy as possible and recommend Coleshill Parkway as the easiest station to get to.  We will arrange for your transfer to and from the hotel and back to the station at the end of the course.  Alternatively, if you wish to travel by car there is plenty of on-site parking.
