For early career materials, minerals and mining scientists and engineers, the process towards Chartership may seem daunting and its benefits may not be initially obvious. To support the journey towards Chartership, the IOM3 Younger Members’ Committee (YMC) hosted a Chartership event with two key speakers.

Congratulations to all the winners of the IOM3 Special and Publication Awards, who were presented with their medals and certificates at an awards dinner at 297 Euston Road, London on 8 October 2019.

The Monarch has today set out the Government’s plan for 26 bills to deliver Brexit, improve environmental targets to help tackle climate change, increase investment in science and ensure a national infrastructure strategy to improve transport and energy infrastructure.
