  • Design in Plastics Award winner announced

    On Friday, 5 July 2019, The Worshipful Company of Horners held the final of the Design Plastics Competition in association with IOM3. First place was awarded to Daniella Kaligorsky for her vision and outstanding product development of the breast cancer examination kit.

  • Schools and Student Starpack Awards 2019

    The Starpack Schools and Student Awards took place at the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining in London on 26 June 2019 hosted by radio presenter and event host Andy Miller. This year, the awards welcomed entries from Year 7 up to AS Level, and with 190 entries to judge there was no shortage of excellent work. The judges awarded 32 highly commended, 19 bronze, 24 silver and 15 gold stars.

    The Institute has published its Annual Report and Financial Statements for 2018. The report highlights the Institute's activities in 2018, covering all departments, local societies and technical communities. The report also features IOM3 award winners and events.
