MPG AGM and Effect of Plastics on Coronavirus Webinar

Both the Presentation and AGM will be available through the Zoom platform with separate log in to ensure that the evening webinar is free to members and non members. Access is limited to IOM3 members for the AGM.

At 7.00 pm Philip Law will present a review of the impact of coronavirus on the UK plastics industry. This will cover the effects on the industry’s operations as well as on the image of the materials and products with government, consumers and NGOs. The validity of the expression ‘new normal’ will also be considered and what the future might hold for the UK plastics business  and how that business is conducted.

At 7.45 pm the 28th AGM of Manchester Polymer Group will approve the persons nominated for the respective Officer positions including the re-election of the Hon Secretary and Hon Treasurer who, having spent five years in those positions, must offer themselves, if willing, to continue in those roles.

Anyone wishing to be considered for joining the committee should return the NOMINATION FORM to David Baker, (Hon Secretary) duly signed, Proposals for co-opted members are always welcome.
