POSTPONED – London Climate Action Week
**This has now been postponed due to the escalation of COVID-19.
London Climate Action Week (LCAW) will take place from the 27 June – 5 July 2020 with various events and activities planned across the city.
The first-ever London Climate Action Week was held from 1-8 July 2019, hosted by the Mayor of London and Greater London Authority. The week brought Londoner's together from across the city's broad spectrum of communities and cultural institutions to engage with climate change, making it a truly distinct global event. LCAW 2019 held more than 180 events showing how diverse and expansive the London climate change community is.
LCAW 2019 will see more than 100 climate-themed events take place across the Capital creating an ambitious agenda of international debate and action. LCAW is designed to bring international climate networks to London but will be firmly rooted in the Capital. The hope is that London Climate Action Week will begin to build a high impact 'climate cluster' in London. A network where organisations work together to develop better, faster and more effective solutions to the climate crisis. A community of practitioners engaging honestly with the existential threats of climate change and the societal opportunities of strong climate action.
