Digital transformation at IOM3

The Institute has embarked on a major digital transformation project – named Project Optimus - that will deliver a new database and member portal early in 2020, followed by the integration of our other administration and communications systems and a brand new website by early 2021.

The replacement of our current database software, now nearly 20 years old, is well overdue and the new contact relationship management (CRM) system and integrated website will provide a modern set up that will help IOM3 to streamline its processes and deliver services to members and non-members much more effectively in future.

We are planning the transition to the new CRM system at the end of January 2020 – members will notice a change in the appearance of the member portal giving you access to your member profile and online benefits, journals, databases and payments. The main IOM3 website will be unchanged for the time being while we develop the new system and start the major task of designing and building a new website.

The changeover to the new CRM will take place over the last weekend of January – we would like to give advance notice that the member portal will be disconnected for the period of a few days while this takes place and so access to online member benefits and online payments will be temporarily suspended. Further details will be provided in the New Year.

In the meantime, we urge all members to review their data on our current database so that we can ensure that the details we migrate to the new system are as up to date as possible. You can see your online profile at www.iom3.org/user - a password reminder function is available if needed.
