London Design Festival focuses on plastic
The London Design Festival 2018 (LDF) is putting the spotlight on plastic as its Material of the Year. It’s a material currently holding precedence in the design world and LDF is casting an eye on the design industry to see how the material is being repurposed in imaginative and valuable ways.
Four designers who are demonstrating a determined and refined approach to working in recycled plastic will be showcasing their products at the London Design Fair at the Old Truman Brewery on 20–23 September. The four examples from across the globe are adding real value and desirability through design, treating gathered waste as a new virgin material.
