The highly anticipated ClayTech conference, organised by IOM Communications on behalf of the Ceramics Society, is set for 16 November at the Newark Showground, Nottinghamshire.
Presentations at this year’s conference will emphasise the short and long term opportunities and challenges facing the ceramics industry. Topics covered will include raw materials, prefabrication, energy efficiency, legislation and standards, preparation and health and safety.
Noble Francis, Economics Director at the Construction Products Association, will provide the keynote presentation on the opportunities and challenges for construction product manufacturers in a post-Brexit economy.
Other speakers include Tom Reynolds (British Ceramic Confederation), Keith Aldis (Brick Development Association), Mike Leonard (Building Alliance), and Steve Morgan (Thorpe Precast).
As usual, the day’s programme will provide ample opportunities for delegates to network and visit exhibition stands. Once again, we have seen another year-on-year increase in the number of sponsors and exhibitors who are supporting ClayTech UK, which continues to be one of the major events in the industry calendar.
