Eoin Redahan, Senior Reporter on the Institute’s magazine titles, has won Writer of the Year at the 2012 PPA Independent Publisher Awards held at Vinopolis, London. Louise Kittle, Group Editor, was also nominated for Editor of the Year.

"Eoin has an enormous amount of potential. He engages the reader quickly with great introductions, and has the skill of turning potentially dry copy into really interesting stuff with actual laugh-out-loud moments. A worthy winner" - Judges

The Awards recognise achievements in the UK’s leading independent publishing houses. A big winner of the night was Noble House Media, who won Digital Product of the Year for ISellMobile.co.uk and Commercial Initiative of the Year.

The ceremony followed a conference with speakers from all across the publishing industry including Amanda Barnes, Chief Executive of Faversham House, who delivered an honest and future-focused presentation on event planning and execution.

UPDATE: Eoin won the award for a second time in December 2014 - more details to come.
