New sales team for the Institute
June saw a change in the way the Institute handles the sale of advertising within its member magazines. Advertising space had previously been sold by a media sales agency working on our behalf. The Institute’s newly created Sales and Marketing Department has now taken over responsibility for media sales, ensuring our commercial customers are made fully aware of the breadth of opportunities available to them.
Julie Lishman has joined the Institute as Media Sales Coordinator and will be the main point of contact for advertisers. Having worked for more than nine years at Northcliffe Media, one of the UK’s largest media organisations, she brings a wealth of experience to the new role.
Julie said, ‘I am really looking forward to working with clients across our member magazines and e-zines. The Institute can offer many ways for companies to achieve their commercial objectives and it’s going to be exciting explaining the opportunities available to them’.
