The Applied Earth Science Division of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining and the Mineral Deposits Study Group, Geological Society are pleased to announce a major two-day conference scheduled to take place on 23-24 September 2008 in London.

IMMa launched at IOM3

An audience of over 100 attended the launch of the International Mining and Minerals Association (IMMa) at the IOM3 London headquarters, where IMMa chairman Professor John Monhemius explained the background to the new organisation and John McGagh of Rio Tinto delivered the 2008 Prestige Lecture on advances in remote mining in Australia.
