The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining is a membership organisation based in central London.  Our members and similar organisation choose our venue to hold meetings, conferences and events on a daily basis.

The Facilities Manager based at our main office in London will lead the Facilities Team to deliver a safe, effective and enjoyable environment for building users and continually improve working practices and processes to ensure our buildings are managed as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Our offices are fast paced, dynamic and complex and require an experienced Facilities professional to lead the Facilities Team of four to deliver a working environment to allow our people to work to the best of their ability and be welcoming and practical for our external users and fixed-term tenants.

We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking, proactive, knowledgeable person to take manage the team and focus on improving the sustainability of our services and products over the next 12 months. The right candidate will be self-motivated and able to work under pressure and have the ability to understand a wide range of stakeholder needs to adapt your approach where necessary.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to set a shining example of our guidelines, standards and values is essential along with excellent leadership abilities and experience of managing, developing and motivating individuals and teams to deliver results.
