The Chair of the Members’ Board is one of the Trustees of IOM3, and sits, along with around a dozen others, on the Executive Board.
The Members' Board co-ordinates the Institute’s activities with affiliated local societies in the UK and beyond. It also brings together the different member networks that exist to support individuals across materials, minerals, and mining, with a particular focus currently on promoting greater diversity and inclusion.

The successful applicant will also be able to show a track record of leading groups of volunteers. We are open to nominations from candidates with a background in any of the many different activities and sectors of the Institute’s members. We are also particularly keen to improve the diversity of our volunteer cadre.
Nomination is by submission of:

- a supporting statement from another voting (corporate) member of IOM3
