Myanmar jade mine landslide kills 160

Latest reports indicate over 160 people have been killed after a landslide at a jade mine in Myanmar left workers trapped in the Hpakant area of Kachin state, in the north of the country.

Several similar incidents have occurred in recent years. The search continues but officials warn the death toll is likely to rise.
