Postponed February 2018 event

ICTa Yorks Lecture

Andrew Carp & Bruce Wright - Resource UK Ltd

For most of us in the heavy clay industry, test results of one kind or another are part of everyday life. Technical and production need to know that the raw materials used are within specification and that the products made comply with the appropriate Standards, and sales also need to be sure that the products they are selling are fit for purpose.

The presentation will look at raw materials testing. It will consider the parameters that need to be tested and the range of test methods available. The correct use of test data is of vital importance to avoid wasting money and steering the decision making process in the wrong direction.

The importance of correct sampling techniques as well. The presentation will consider what the results mean and what we can learn from them.
