Brief A: Vintage pack for juices - what is new is old
Sponsored by Logoplaste
Entering the competition provides pupils with an insight into a career in consumer packaging design and encourages them to learn more about this creative and rewarding career choice.
Open to pupils and students currently studying at Key Stage 4, GCSE's, AS/A2, BTEC Levels 2/3 and NCFE programmes, and now in their sixteenth year, the Starpack Schools awards form part of the annual Starpack Awards programme which also includes the Starpack Students Packaging Design Awards for colleges and universities.
Packaging is an industry that is around us every day, but one that we take little notice of. Look around you - in the supermarket, in your home, in your school - every item has arrived in a package and outer packaging is used for transportation. We are now very conscious of the environmental impact of packaging, so innovative packaging solutions that preserve, protect and promote the product inside are all the more important.
