East Midlands Heat - IOM3 Younger Persons Lecture Competition

We have five entrants who will give a lecture of 15 minutes each.

“The Effect of Heat Treatment on the Structure and Properties of 15/5 PH Stainless Steel”
 
Joel Strickland, University of Leicester
"Applications of Pattern Recognition for Dendritic Microstructures"
 
The winner, decided on the night, will go forward to the Midlands regional final on the 25 March at Loughborough University.

The regional winner will take part in the National competition in London on 1st May. First prize is £750 and a trip to Hong Kong for the World final, all expenses paid!
