The Institute would like to thank all members who took the time to complete its 2019 Member Survey. We are now in a position to report on the results and some of the activities we will be taking to enhance and refresh the Institute’s suite of member benefits.
The Institute has published its Annual Report and Financial Statements for 2018. The report highlights the Institute's activities in 2018, covering all departments, local societies and technical communities. The report also features IOM3 award winners and events.
On the 5 July 2019 marks LGBTQ+ in science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM). The aim of the day is to help raise awareness and increase support for diversity and inclusion in STEM to ensure global awareness.
IOM3 has prepared a response on the following consultations on Plastic packaging tax, Packaging waste: changing the UK producer responsibility system for packaging waste and Introducing a deposit return scheme (DRS) for containers.
In 2018, the Trustees of IOM3 approved the creation of a new Technical Communities Board (TCB) The TCB’s role will be to provide a catalyst for multidisciplinary activity between technical groups of IOM3. The selection process is now complete and we are pleased to announce our new Strategic Advisors.
