The Steel industry is seen by many as being dirty and old fashioned where old practices predominate. The presenter will show that there is a changing culture within the business where Lean Principles driven by robust data are beginning to change mindsets and show that there is a different way to operate.  Chas Goldring is the Manager – Continuous Improvement, across the whole of British Steel, and has worked in the industry for 33 years.
