Charles Hatchett Lecture 2010
The Charles Hatchett Lecture is presented by the winner of the annual Charles Hatchett Award for the best paper on the science and technology of niobium and its alloys. The award is sponsored by Companhia Brasileira de Metalurgia e Mineracao (CBMM) and is selected by the Charles Hatchett Award International Panel. The award winner is approved by IOM3 Council together with the winners of other IOM3 awards and prizes.
The winners of the Charles Hatchett Award in 2010 were Sandrine Bremer, Volker Flaxa and Franz M Knoop for their paper 'A novel alloying concept for thermo-mechanical hot-rolled strip for large diameter HTS (Helical Two Step) line pipe'.
