Should we just fix a problem when it occurs?  Using examples from industry, this course gives learners the tools and methodologies to define the problem, identify the root cause and symptoms and implement the solution to prevent recurrence.

It will consider incidents, investigations and analyis and how incidents are reported.

This course will be running virtually, using Zoom.

Who is the course aimed at?

The course is suitable for those involved in troubleshooting failures and breakdowns including engineering, asset management, maintenance, operations, reliability and safety personnel and those responsible for the management, safety and perfomance of assets.

What will I learn?

By the end of the course learners should be able to:

  • Understand how to identify the failure as well as the root cause
  • Evaluate the problem and identify the potential solutions to prevent recurrence
  • Establish the importance of incident reporting by defining the problem and scope appropriately

How much does the course cost?
