On 18 September, Magnificent Women released a list of 100 women engineers from history as part of a project to celebrate the achievements of women in engineering over the past 100 years and IOM3 is pleased to see eight women members of IOM3 and its predecessor organisations featured.

CEng in a Day Workshops

The IOM3 Membership Team will be running a series of CEng In a Day workshops at IOM3 London headquarters during the autumn. The workshop provides a day to focus on the key documents that form the application. The morning session gives guidance on the professional review report and in the afternoon members will prepare the technical presentation.

Congratulations to Professor Nguyễn Thi Kim Thanh FIMMM, who was recently awarded the Royal Society Rosalind Franklin Award and Lecture 2019 for an outstanding contribution to any area of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), and to support the promotion of women in STEM.
