The WIMM council meet before each lecture to discuss the programme, events and our other activities. We are always on the lookout for new members and people to join the WIMM council - there is no age limit, we encourage both the young, the old and even those in the middle, and you do not even need to have a mining and minerals background as WIMM has a very diverse group of people, and our lectures range from renewable energies to mine stabilization. So take a look at our programme.

Our objective is to encourage professional people to continue with their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and also encourage those with a genuine interest in the environment to come along.  We issue CPD certificates, signed by the President at the end of each season for the lectures you attend for your CPD folder.
