New Vice-Chair for the SAA

At the last Board meeting of the Society for Adhesion and Adhesives, Jim Palmer was unanimously voted in as the new Vice-Chair of the SAA; he takes over from Gary Critchlow, who is now the current Chair of the Society. 

Jim, with degrees in chemistry, has over 30 years technical management experience in the adhesives, sealants and coating industry, with a broad knowledge of manufacturing operations, product development, quality and many regulatory issues facing the modern chemical manufacturing and down-stream user industries.

Jim is currently also the Technical Officer of the British Adhesives and Sealants Association (BASA).
