Aerospace 2050 – The Future of Aviation and Space

This years lecture programme starts with a lecture by Graham Roe on 'The Future of Aviation and Space' on Tuesday 4 October. Graham joined Hawker Blackburn at the Brough Yorkshire in 1966 as an Engineering Apprentice followed by project, and production management roles on a number aircraft projects such as HAWK. HARRIER, and T45 Goshawk. In 1989 he transferred to Warton, with responsibility for developing American business.

 

Currently he is Head of Strategic Projects evaluating the implications of the recent Strategic Defence and Security Review on the future of the UK Military and seeking to identify new growth business prospects.

 

He will review worldwide developments across the Aviation and Space sectors over the past 40 years, what is going on today and will then speculate on how the sector could develop over the next 40 years.
