Welcome to IOP: The Packaging Society

Welcome to IOP: The Packaging Society!

A reminder about why we are here for you!

We are the leading body for professionals involved in the packaging world

  • To promote the science, design, engineering, technology and sustainable development of packaging and its practical applications.

  • To provide leadership, qualification, professional recognition and development to its members.

  • To deliver knowledge, information and networking services to our membership and the wider packaging community.

We are an organisation which has been serving the members of the Packaging Industry for the past 60 years through training, education and interaction with other members of the industry. Through national and regional events, we endeavour to raise the profile of the packaging industry, influence change and monitor trends.

As part of IOM3, membership we provide links to other groups, such as the Polymer Society and Sustainable Development Group. With an active younger members' group, the Society is also keen to attract members of all ages and skills and support them through their careers.
