WRAP takes over from Envirowise

WRAP is now the single point of contact for businesses, local authorities and consumers in England looking for materials resource efficiency advice. In a drive to steamline processes and reduce costs, Envirowise, which also offered this support, has been disbanded.

WRAP has become the single source of expertise for material resource efficiency guidance and support, following a decision by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. This will make it simpler, quicker and easier for people to access information.

The Envirowise helpline and website will continue to work until June 2010, however all the relevant information is also now available on the WRAP website.
