PVC- Meeting the Challenge of the Future is the focus for the SPE Vinyl Plastics Division and Palisades New Jersey Section sponsored Vinyltec 2010 conference planned for 18 October to 20 October 2010 in Iselin, New Jersey, USA. In addition to sessions covering Building/Construction and Sustainability/Recycling, the conference will open with a special session in a tribute to Elliott Weinberg who was the original editor of the Journal of Vinyl Technology starting in 1979 and who became the associate editor of the later Journal of Vinyl & Additive Technology in the mid 1990's. Dr Weinberg received numerous patents, mainly in inorganic chemistry involving tin and has written many significant and important technical papers.
