Teacher’s experience at Materials Congress

‘Smart materials – smart move’ is the theme of the teacher’s experience to be held on 14 May in Grantham as part of Materials Congress. The all-day session will focus on smart materials with a view to support the science and technology curriculum for 12-16 year olds. The programme can be viewed by following the link below.

The applications of smart materials and how to apply the knowledge gained from the event to the classroom will be discussed. Presentations will cover metals, ceramics, glass, packaging, textiles and polymers. There will also be an open session for delegates to raise questions with industry and academic experts. Teachers can register for free.
