Polymer Study Tours 2010

This initiative is aimed at providing secondary Science and Design Technology teachers with a greater understanding of the science, technology and applications of polymers, with the goal of transferring this newly acquired knowledge to the classrooms.

The Polymer Study Tours are an important initiative for the plastics industry and help to promote an understating of plastics directly to the next generation of industry leaders.

The course always proves highly popular amongst teachers but there are a few places still available.

There are two venues where the courses take place.

  • London Metropolitan University 27-30 June 2010
  • University of Manchester 11-14 July 2010

Due to the kind support of a number of leading companies within the industry, the cost of this course is subsidised meaning the 3½ day residential courses cost teachers just £150.

If you know of any teachers or schools that may be interested in finding out more details please forward on the attached booklet or alternatively point them in the direction of www.polymerstudytours.co.uk where they can find out more information and register.
