Places available on The Member's Benevolent Trust board

The Member's Benevolent Trust (MBT) is seeking two people to fill vacancies on its board. Nominations for people to be co-opted are particularly welcome from The Packaging Society and International Clay Technology Association.

At the MBT AGM on 1 July, Sheila Wright, Tony Brewis and Alan Baxter were re-elected to the Board. Two new members, Jan Lewis and Gavin Bowyer, were also elected. Three Trustees resigned for personal reasons, Colin Richards, Robert Derricott and Alan Morrell, leaving two positions to be filled.

The officers for 2009 continue to be Chris Corti, Chairman, David Elliott, Honorary Treasurer, and Alan Baxter, Honorary Secretary.

The MBT offers assistance and advice to Institute members, past and present, and their dependents in times of hardship.
