Outstanding Service Award

David Seath CEng FIMMM was presented with his Outstanding Service Award at a Mining Institute of Scotland (MIS) dinner held in his honour on 26th May 2010.
David has been a member of the MIS Council for over 25 years, including President 1993/94 and Secretary since 1999. He is currently chairman of the Mining Institute of Scotland Trust, a member of the IOM3 Secretaries Committee and a long standing scrutineer, as well as sitting on the Professional Responsibility Interview panel for would be Members and Chartered Engineers. He is also a Trustee of the Scottish Mining Museum.
