Nominations sought for Institute’s Medals and Prizes

The Institute’s Medals and Prizes 2009 are open for nominations. The awards fall under two categories – personal achievement and published work, and the deadline for all entries is 19 December 2008.

There are over 40 awards, covering a range of materials, including metals, ceramics, rubber, minerals, and composites. Processing and applications (such as automotive and medical use), as well as service to the Institute, are all recognised, along with the best papers published in either specific IOM3 journals, or on particular materials.
